Evra tells Man Utd Boss Moyes: I need better Competition

Patrice Evra will welcome a new left-back signing at Manchester United.

The Daily Mail says Evra has admitted
privately he needed genuine competition for
his place in the team.

Dutchman Alexander Buttner has not proved up to the task since being signed by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2012.

The 24-year-old, himself wanted by Tottenham this January, has started only one Premier League game this season, while Fabio hasn't developed as expected.

This has seen Evra, at 32, carrying the
majority of the workload.
