 Mercy's husband, Lanre Gentry actually funded the big party - he spared no cost on January 1, 2013 as he staged a lavish birthday party in honour of his wife and actress, Mercy Aigbe Gentry.
The birthday held at the couple’s hospitality outfit, La Veronique with friends, colleagues and family members in attendance.
Some notable faces at the event were actor turned politician, Hon. Rotimi Makinde, Doris Simeon, Biodun Okeowo Sofuyi, Iyabo Ojo, Mide Martins,  Toyin Aimakhu Johnson, Adeniyi Johnson, Femi Ogedengbe and MC Alade.
