The new year can be a fresh start for many, but for Vin Diesel, it's also a reminder of what was lost in 2013.
The Fast & Furious actor paid tribute to the late Paul Walker in a Facebook post today, sharing a sweet photo of him and his pal having a laugh while on a press tour for their latest film from the franchise.
"There was always moments of child-like laughter...We had accomplished so much by 2013...P.s. The complexities of Brotherhood, and the painful void... of it's absence," Diesel wrote.

Since Walker's death in late November, Diesel has posted a number of photos and sweet words in regards to the loss of one of his best friends. One of his latest posts revealed the release date for Fast & Furious 7.
Diesel took to Facebook and, with a photo of him and Walker from the film, wrote,"The last scene we filmed together…There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we've come… Fast and Furious 7 will be released…April 10th 2015!"
He wrapped up the sentimental post with another nod to his pal, adding, "P.s. He'd want you to know first."

There was much speculation as to whether the 40-year-old actor would appear in the movie following his tragic death in a fiery car crash on Saturday, Nov. 30, but Universal Pictures has since confirmed Walker will be in the latest installment of the film franchise.
"Continuing the global exploits in the franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the returning cast of FAST & FURIOUS 7, which will be released by Universal Pictures on April 10, 2015," the studio said in a statement. "James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series, and Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel return as producers."
After attending a private memorial service for Walker in Santa Clarita, Calif., Diesel made an impromptu speech in Valencia using a sheriff's car's microphone.
Calling the 40-year-old star his "brother," Vin thanked attendees for their support in light of the celeb's passing. "At this hard time his family gets to see all of you show the love that you've shown Paul. It's going to stay with me forever," Diesel said. "I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for coming down here and showing that angel up in heaven how much you appreciate him."
