Nadia Buari Wins Best African Actress At African Achievers Awards 2014

Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari was on Friday, February
28, named the Best African Actress at the African
Achievers Awards 2014 held at the Presidential
Banquet Hall in Accra.

Late BBC broadcaster Komla Afeke Dumor was also
announced winner of Excellence in Broadcasting. A
female journalist from the British Broadcasting
Cooperation received the award on his behalf.

African Achievers Awards (AAA) is a canonical strive
of praise for Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, Community
builders and those who have efficiently contributed in
the rising of Africa; with great courage and utility we
sincerely wish to identify and appraise the brave
hearts that uphold the nations of Africa.

The First African Achievers Awards was Presented to
Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu in recognition for his
fight for Human Right, Justice and Peace during his
80th Birthday celebration Hosted by Kings College
(King's College London is one of the top 30
universities in the world (2012/13 QS international world rankings), and was The Sunday Times
'University of the Year 2010/11′, and the fourth
oldest in England.
