Security operatives ground Ijebu Ode for Jonathan’s visit

Security men shut down Ijebu Ode for President Goodluck Jonathan as he attends Oba Sikiru Adetola 80th birthday.The major roads leading to Dipo Dina international stadium, Ijebu Ode, such as Oba Sikiru Adetona Road, Stadium Road, were manned by combined team of regular policemen, soldiers, SSS among others.

Motorists and cyclists were ordered to use others routes. Guests and other visitors were screened at the entrance before being allowed in. Bonnets, boots and inside of cars were thoroughly searched by soldiers. Bomb detectors were also used to scan underneath the cars and other vehicles.
