Unilorin student emerges Miss Kwara 2014


A 20-year-old undergraduate of university of Ilorin, Feyisara Williams broke down in tears as she was declared winner of the maiden edition of miss Kwara Beauty Pageant held at M&M Event Center in Ilorin.

The event attracted eminent personalities in the state such as the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kwara State on Political Matters, Alhaji Usman Bibire Ajape and Special Assistant on Non-Government Affairs, Alhaji Abdulrasaq Oba-Bolanta.

A total of 22 young models from tertiary institutions in the state and beyond competed in the pageant organized by Elio Logistics in conjunction with the Mascot Art and Noble FAME.
The contestants paraded the run away with different attire including traditional wears, casual and dinner gowns. There was a competition in which the contestant display their dexterity as they dance to different genres of music.

At the end of it all, Williams, a 400l masscom student clinch the prize of one million naira, a  trip to USA and two trips to Dubai. Lateefah Saani,a 21 year old sociology student of University of Ilorin won the sum of #500,000 and a trip to Dubai as the first runners up of the contest.

Also, Rasheedah Akinola, a 20 yr old 200l student of English Department of the same university came third, winning the sum of #250,000 and a trip to Dubai.
The event reached its climax as Wande Coal,made cameo appearance on the stage. The crowd went ecstatic with excitement as the ace thrilled guest to sensational music.
