Angelina Jolie in heroin addict claims after 'dealer' posts video showing her ‘high’

Film allegedly shows the star in the 1990s minutes after taking heroin.
Last month she was honoured by the Queen for her campaigning work helping the victims of sex trafficking. But 15 years ago, Angelina Jolie apparently lived a rather
more unsavoury lifestyle, according to her self-described drug dealer who last night posted a video online apparently showing the actress moments after allegedly taking a hit of heroin.

Looking emaciated and agitated, the star is seen pacing a rubbish-strewn, dingy apartment as she talks on the telephone.
It was disclosed by Franklin Meyer, who has in the past claimed to have supplied heroin and cocaine to Jolie during the 1990s, a time in her life she has previously admitted was “dark” and “dangerous” period of her life, which she was lucky to survive.

Now 39 and engaged to fellow Hollywood star Brad Pitt, Jolie has successfully turned her life around, with six children, three of whom are adopted.
Frequently named among the most beautiful women in the world, she has an Oscar to her name, is a former United Nations ambassador for refugees, and an activist for the victims of sex trafficking, a role for which she received an honourary damehood last month from the Queen.

But in the late 1990s, she was just starting out as an actress and was living in New York where, Mr Meyer claims, she regularly requested he supply her with drugs. He said that on one occasion, after receiving a call from Jolie asking him to visit her, he turned up with a video camera, which he had recently purchased.

After agreeing that he could film her, Mr Meyer told The National Enquirer, she took a phonecall from her father, actor Jon Voight, and proceeded to discuss her brother, James, and late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, in an emotional and wild-eyed manner while the camera
continued to record.

The 16-minute video, which was last night posted online RadarOnline shows a shockingly thin Jolie surrounded by
rubbish while a television blares in the background.
Digging her fingers into her skin, she tells the caller: “She’s like, telling me to relax, you know. But to, you know, I said what if I don’t work for you, what if I don’t make that much money?

“You know, I don’t want this to ruin our relationship. And I don’t want it to be this thing where, you know, we go out to do something or to dinner or go shopping and you know, or her coming out to visit, and not buying something for herself.”
Mr Meyer claimed that Jolie spent around $100 (£58) a week on drugs.
He said: “‘Angie was a client of mine for several years. I sold her heroin and cocaine. One day she called me up and wanted me to drop by her place.

“That was her way of telling me she wanted me to bring her drugs. “At the time, I had just bought a video camera and decided to bring it along. When I arrived, I just gave her the drugs and then she gave me the money.”
In 2011, Jolie told the television show 60 Minutes: "I went through heavier, darker times and I survived them. I didn't die young, so I’m very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn’t survive certain things.

"I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst. "For many reasons I shouldn’t be here. You think of those too many times where you came close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken too far."
