Pellegrini Keen As Xabi Alonso offered to Man City and Man Utd

Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso's reps have offered him to Manchester United and Manchester City.

The Daily Star Sunday says United are unlikely to
make a move as Alonso is 32 and a former Liverpool player – the Old Trafford club’s most-bitter rivals.

But City boss Manuel Pellegrini is interested in Alonso
as a free-transfer signing as his contract expires in
June.

A deal in this month’s transfer window, though,
would see Real require a fee.
