ABC Family's smash series Pretty Little Liars is
back tonight at 8 p.m. with the winter premiere of
season four, and it's going to be one hour of TV
that you absolutely cannot miss.
We can tell that you're incredible jealous that we've
already watched tonight's amazing episode
(twice!) but because we're generous, we've got
special treat for all you Rosewood fans. We chatted
with executive producer Joseph Dougherty to get
all the inside scoop on what's coming up in the
second half of this mind-blowing season.
Plus, in order to find out exactly what you wanted
to know about the winter premiere, we hopped on
Twitter and picked 10 of your most burning PLL
questions. Read on for spoiler-filled answers about
Pretty Little Liar's heart-pounding romances, jaw-
dropping twists and more!
1DFREAK19: Are the liars happy that Alison is
alive? If not why?
We'll let Aria's (Lucy Hale) opening line speak for
itself: "We just found out that Ali is alive, she's
really alive. Why am I not insanely happy?" They
liars are definitely peeved to find out that their
former best friend has been alive and kicking for
the past two years. Many of them are not sure
whether or not they can trust Alison's (Sasha
Pieterse) pleas for help, especially since she has
been lying to them for such a long time.
CarynDeb: Will we find out any big secrets in the
premiere?!
There are plenty of big secrets in tonight's
premiere, but we'll tell you about our favorite one:
Ezra (Ian Harding)--aka our newest evil
mastermind--reveals to Aria that he has a new lair
in the woods. This cabin has everything that A
could ask for: It's secluded, there's no internet or
cell service, and it's creepy as hell. Oh and don't
forget to keep an eye out for the scary secret
basement. Two words: Aria, run!
Flawlesstreegan: Are Spencer and Toby going to
kiss like even once in 4b?
Of course they will. Spoby fans are in for a super
sweet reunion embrace as well as an adorable
Hastings house kiss in tonight's episode. Bonus
Scoop: Toby (Keegan Allen) is really starting to
follow in Spencer's (Troian Bellisario) Nancy Drew
footsteps because he has really stepped up his
Radley/mother mystery game.
HibaZdJonas: Are the girls from Pretty Little Liars
gonna doubt that Ezra is A?
We'll go ahead and let our friend and executive
producer Joseph Doughtery answer this one for
you: "You do not know all of Ezra's secrets at this
point and you don't know all of his motivation.
Right now the audience knows more than the girls
do, and you're going to have to deal with the girls
getting to the point where they know what you
know and what they're going to do about it."
Pfvrmanuca: Are we are going to see any
flashbacks? And Alison scenes?
Nope! Sorry to break your PLL-loving hearts but
we're not getting any flashbacks or Alison scenes.
However, you will get plenty of information as to
just how bizarre Mrs. DiLaurentis has become
since her daughter's "death."
SleepntheHrding: Is the Ezria love scene sincere or
does he have crazy eyes during it?
Whoa, who told you about that?! You sneaky Ezria
fans are always one step ahead. Even though you
won't technically be witnessing a "love scene," you
will be seeing plenty of crazy eyes from our
favorite two-timing teacher. Harding is absolutely
flawless at portraying Ezra's seemingly conflicted
emotions and Dougherty reveals that the actor is
having "a tremendous amount of fun" with all of
Ezra's new secrets.
Jadecutiewall: Tell us anything Emison (Emily/
Alison) please!!!
Prepare yourselves, Emison fans because Emily
will be going on a rollercoaster ride of emotions in
tonight's premiere. From disbelief to frustration
and a whole lotta anger, we'll see Emily tackle her
feelings about Alison's return with ferocity and
strength. Oh and did we mention that she reveals
intimate details of her past with Ali to Paige
(Lindsey Shaw)? The secrets are coming out y'all.
CharlotteMaes1: Can u tell us something about
Mona and Ezra talking together?
It's wickedly wonderful! You'll see that Mona (Janel
Parrish) is starting to recognize that there could be
another double agent in Rosewood. Dougherty
explains, "I think Mona thinks they're both working
for the same person, but that might be ego on her
part. She wouldn't want to admit anything and she
probably thinks, 'Oh, I'm smarter than him, I
couldn't be working for him.'" Their mini-coffee
date is extremely tense, calculated and conniving.
We definitely want to see them sharing more
scenes together.
ChloeJennigns: Will we have real answers in the
first episode of the B part?
Yup! You'll find out the real answer as to what
Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) want to do with his
relationship with Hanna (Ashley Benson). We're not
going to give away all the details, but we want you
to be prepared for what's ahead so take our advice
and have a box or two of tissues nearby.
Kalli_mak: How many Ezria kisses?
You'll officially see three steamy lip-locks, but
there's also a very rustled -bed in the episode so
who knows how many smooches those two will
actually share...
