Tilda Swinton, Ralph Fiennes and Pierce Brosnan: All the fun of the Glasgow Film Festival!

Pierce Brosnan s film A Long Way Down will also feature at the festival

The truly dedicated film buff could spend every single day of the year at a film festival somewhere in the world. Cannes, Venice and Toronto retain pole position for glamour and world premieres but you could be star-gazing and talent-spotting from Doha to Dublin the rest of the year.
The Glasgow Film Festival opens tonight with the UK premiere of The Grand Budapest Hotel starring Ralph Fiennes and Tilda Swinton.
Other big titles include Locke with Tom Hardy, A Long Way Down with Pierce Brosnan, Mr Morgan’s Last Love with Sir Michael Caine and French political satire Quai D’Orsay with Julie Gayet (current squeeze of President François Hollande).
The festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary and has grown into one of the biggest film events in the country with a reputation for staging unique events in unexpected locations.
